Mission

          The mission of the Porter Elementary Media Center is to provide programs, materials, and support that enhance the learning experience, expand student interests, and facilitate creativity and collaboration.

Goals

• The media center is the largest classroom in the school and is designed to be the most valuable resource to students and faculty.
• The media center program aims to go beyond traditional classroom resources by providing a vast array of print and online materials.
• The media center program partners with classroom teachers to assist students in becoming skilled researchers and ethical digital citizens.
